We are delighted to confirm the appointment of a new General Manager, to assist in the further growth and development of our company.
“Having been with the company for 23 years, I am delighted to appoint Paul Herson as the new General Manager of the company. He will work even closer with me as I now combine my workload with my new role in the Emmepi Group,” said David Williams, Managing Director. “Paul worked with me for over 10 years at Edlon Machinery Ltd prior to the inception of GTS and is well known in the UK and Irish corrugated packaging market, having first entered this sector way back in 1988. Thus, his move into the role of General Manager means that customers can rest assured of a steady hand on the rudder from someone who not only knows our products inside out, but also from a hands-on, technical standpoint.”
“I am really happy to take on this new role and thank David for his ongoing trust in me,” says Paul. “One objective is to ensure we continue to grow and to that end, my first job is to recruit an additional Business Development Manager to join the company and pick up some of the work that I have handled in general sales. We have had some super interviews and should be able to announce the next appointment very soon indeed. So watch this space!”
